Terms for Carrier Billing

ShemarooMe service can be purchased using Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) through major telecommunications providers in Kuwait including Ooredoo Kuwait, Zain Kuwait, and STC Kuwait. By using this payment method, users acknowledge and accept the following terms. These terms must be read and accepted in conjunction with our supporting terms and policies available at Terms And Conditions, as well as carrier terms and conditions for carrier billing and the regulations set by the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) of Kuwait.

Subscription Model

  • Billing Method: Charges will be deducted from your prepaid card balance or added to your monthly billing account with your carrier (Ooredoo, Zain, or STC). You will not be charged more than the advertised amount. Your carrier may recover outstanding charges or adjust billing frequency as per their standard procedures.
  • Service Access: Enter your mobile number to access the service. To cancel your subscription, send “STOP” (English) or “إلغاء” (Arabic) via SMS to the designated numbers or contact our support team.
  • Account Security: A password/account designation will be assigned upon registration. Users must keep these credentials confidential and secure.
  • Unauthorized Use: Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. The Company is not liable for any damage resulting from failure to comply with security requirements.

Fees

  • Pricing Structure: Subscription fees are consistent across all carriers:
    • Ooredoo Kuwait: 800 fils per week (includes all applicable taxes)
    • Zain Kuwait: 800 fils per week (includes all applicable taxes)
    • STC Kuwait: 800 fils per week (includes all applicable taxes)
    Charges are deducted from prepaid balance or added to your monthly bill. No additional charges beyond the advertised rates.
  • Automatic Billing: Weekly charges apply automatically after subscription confirmation, regardless of service usage. Free trial users will be charged according to the standard rates after the trial period ends. Service auto-renews weekly.

Refund Policy

  • Right of Withdrawal: As per Kuwait telecommunications regulations and consumer protection laws, subscribers have the right to cancel their subscription and request refunds in accordance with CITRA guidelines and carrier billing policies.
  • How to Request Refund: Notify our customer care team with a clear, unambiguous statement requesting withdrawal. Refund requests are processed according to both our terms and your carrier's billing policies (Ooredoo, Zain, or STC).
  • Contact for Refunds: Email us at support@vod-streaming.pro or contact CITRA consumer support if unsatisfied with carrier response.
  • Required Information: Include complete contact details, service name, subscription date, mobile number, and carrier name (Ooredoo, Zain, or STC) in your refund request.
  • Processing Time: Acknowledgement will be sent by email within 2 business days. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days as per CITRA regulations and carrier policies.
  • Banking Information: Carrier billing users may need to provide banking information to facilitate refund processing through your carrier's refund mechanism.

Free Trial Periods and Misuse

Misuse includes, but is not limited to:

  • Registering multiple accounts for repeated free trials
  • Deactivating/reactivating to extend trials
  • Using deceptive means to obtain trials
  • Any action against law, morality, or public opinion

Consequences may include blacklisting, suspension, termination, or legal action.

Consumer Rights and CITRA Protection

As a consumer in Kuwait, you are protected by the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) regulations:

  • Complaint Process: If unsatisfied with carrier or service provider response, you may escalate complaints directly to CITRA after allowing reasonable time for resolution.
  • CITRA Contact: Visit www.citra.gov.kw or call their consumer hotline
  • Billing Disputes: CITRA monitors billing practices and can assist with refund processing when carriers fail to resolve disputes appropriately.
  • Service Standards: All carriers (Ooredoo, Zain, STC) must comply with CITRA service quality standards and consumer protection regulations.
